“The need to capture a particular moment in thought or time has
always compelled me to paint. There are certain subjects that need to be
expressed, remembered and shared. I know I have been successful in my
translation when the viewer is transported to the moment and is moved by it.”
A lifetime
resident of Union Pier, MI. Susan finds artistic inspiration in many areas.
Works in Pastel and Oil portray South West Michigan’s natural beauty. In Oil and photography she captures the
abstract forms of nature and industrial designs in steel. Other areas in
thought and time are conveyed through Abstract Drawing, Painting, Poetry and
Portraits.
A self-taught artist, Susan has held many
one-man shows and her award winning work has been displayed in the Midwest
